Marathon Congratulations

Here at Constables we’re very proud of our in-house Marathon runner, Sally Lovell, who successfully completed the London Marathon in 3 hours 34 minutes on Sunday. Sally processes the orders for Constables customers who are buying their new cars using the Motability scheme.

This year’s marathon had over 170,000 applicants of which only 50,200 were accepted. The 26.2 mile course around some of London`s best known landmarks had its fair share of elite runners with the Kenyan athlete Wilson Kipsang winning with a time of 2hr 4min 44sec – just four seconds outside the course record.

British athletes David Weir and Shelly Woods, Britain's leading two wheelchair racers, claimed a double victory in both the men's and women's wheelchair races for the first time in five years.
