David Constable, managing director of Constables
Mobility, said
"We are really excited about this wheelchair
accessible vehicle range which provides wheelchair
users with an extremely practical vehicle. For more
than a decade we have enjoyed a very good working
relationship with Peugeot which has enabled us to
start planning the development of this new wheelchair
accessible conversion many months before the vehicle
was launched. This close working partnership,
alongside the creation of innovative design and the
adoption of new technologies and production methods,
has enabled us to establish a new era for wheelchair
accessible vehicles. "
Constables launch new Tepee range at Peugeot UK
headquarters
Constables Mobility unveiled its new
Tepee MPV
range of wheelchair accessible vehicles at the
headquarters of Peugeot UK. This exciting new product
development was extremely well received by the
audience which included representatives from
Motability and Motability Operations. These new
vehicles give wheelchair users exceptionally good
forward vision and, at the same time, have provided
one of the most exciting and innovative disabled
vehicle conversions. Constables ground breaking
design provides wheelchair users with unequalled
forward and side vision, which the company is
convinced is the best in its class. By creating a
wheelchair position at the very heart of the vehicle,
this design provides the wheelchair occupant with a
much more comfortable ride. At the same time its
design has created excellent interior head height of
60"/154cm, making it possible to walk through from
the front seats to the rear of the vehicle.
